Finally a swim product I need and it’s specifically made for me!! EBAN is a hair care line with products for us and by us! I’m so happy to have come across EBAN, it’s designed by a Black woman for Black women who swim and work out! This is. What happens when a Black woman needs a solution, she makes one! The founder is a mom who was just tired of struggling to find the right hair care solutions for her daughter who swims. Not only is the story behind EBAN inspiring, but the products are also exactly what we need.
Teaching swim year round means I’m never out of the water long enough to recover from the harsh chlorine, and I’ve seen firsthand how damaging it can be to my hair. Im a short blonde now who’s been on a vegan diet the last 9 years so the products i use are super important to me. EBAN checks all the boxes I need; they’re plant based, there’s no sulfates or parabens, plus it’s all natural! I can’t wait to try out this line and see how it works on my hair!

Growing up in Los Angeles in a swimming family, I developed a love for water from an early age. While I swam competitively in high school, I realized my true passion was simply enjoying the water. To support myself through college, I worked as a lifeguard and began teaching swimming lessons in Pacific Palisades. My joy comes from helping students overcome their fear of water, and I teach with grace and compassion, ensuring we reach their goals together.
